WEST VIRGINIA TOWING ASSOCIATION MEMBER SPOTLIGHT
Gaylock Wrecker Service is a charter member of the W.V.T.R.A, and would like to thank everyone for recognizing us as the spotlight member of the month.
Gaylock Wrecker Service is located in Logan, West Virginia, and was founded in 1934 by Frank Gaylock Sr. The company was then passed down to Frank Sr.'s sons, Jim Gaylock & Frank Gaylock Jr., in the late 1960's. Jim & Frank retained ownership up until Jim's passing, in 1994, at which time he passed his part of the company off to the current co-owner, Paul Gaylock Sr. Paul & Frank remained the company's owners until Frank's passing, in 2005, when he passed his part of the company to his wife, Shelva Gaylock. Paul & Shelva still own the company up to this day.
Since 1934, Gaylock Wrecker Service has seen exponential growth. The company now operates 3 heavy-duty wreckers, 2 light-duty wreckers, 2 light-duty rollbacks, 1 heavy-duty rollback, 2 service trucks, 2 tractors, and 6 trailers. Gaylock Wrecker Service offers a wide range of services including light and heavy-duty accident recovery, local and long distance towing & transport, crane service, road service and in-shop Heavy truck and trailer repair, Equipment transport, and lock-out service.
Gaylock Wrecker Service is currently celebrating its 80th anniversary, and with its 4th generation currently employed; hopes to celebrate many more.
